Women's health services
Well-woman exams, Pap smears, breast health screening coordination, contraception counseling, menstrual disorder evaluation, PCOS management, perimenopause and menopause care, hormone replacement therapy, bone health screening, and pelvic ultrasound (in-house). Our women's health program is led by Sanjana Thakkar, FNP, a family nurse practitioner with a practice centered on women's health.
Men's health services
Annual physicals, prostate health screening discussions, testosterone evaluation for symptoms of low T, cardiovascular risk assessment, erectile dysfunction evaluation, and preventive screenings. We take a straightforward, judgment-free approach to men's health concerns.
Hormone health for both
Hormone changes affect women and men differently but deserve the same careful evaluation. For women, we assess perimenopause, menopause, and hormonal imbalances with in-clinic hormone panels. For men, we evaluate testosterone levels when symptoms suggest deficiency. Treatment plans are individualized and monitored with follow-up labs.
Preventive care by life stage
In your 20s and 30s, we focus on establishing baselines, contraception, and healthy habits. In your 40s, we add cancer screenings, cardiovascular risk assessment, and hormone evaluation. In your 50s and beyond, we emphasize bone health, cognitive screening, and chronic disease prevention. Your care evolves as you do.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate OB/GYN?
For routine well-woman care and hormone management, our providers handle it in-house. Pap smears and routine well-woman screenings are performed in clinic. For high-risk pregnancy or surgical gynecology, we refer to OB/GYN specialists.
At what age should men start prostate screening?
Guidelines generally recommend discussing prostate screening starting at age 50, or earlier with family history or other risk factors. We have that conversation with you and decide together.
Can couples come together?
Yes. Couples are welcome to request back-to-back appointments for convenience. Each person gets individual, private time with the provider.
